This lab is intended to give the students a practical experience in working with semiconductor devices such as junction diodes, bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), MOS field effect transistors (MOSFETs) and op-amps, and examines the design and operation of important circuits that utilize these devices. This laboratory integrates the theory taught in the ECE-211/212 course and helps the students to apply their knowledge of electronic circuits. An additional objective is to provide some practice and experience with relevant software tools for electronic circuit simulation.
The Lab is well equipped with hardware facilities required by the students to perform the necessary experiments designed for this lab. Experiments are designed in such a way that the students become well aware of the concepts they learn in the theory sessions. An excellent lab setup for B.Tech. II year students comprising of latest equipments of Computer Organization Kits. The lab strictly follows the ratio of 2:1(Students: Kit). The motive of the lab is to train students in Digital Electronic circuits. It contains prominent experiments related to various Gates, Flip-Flops, Counters& Shift Registers, Adder/ Subtractor, Multiplexer/Demultiplexer, Encoder/Decoder etc and completely is as per the norms of UPTU experiment List.
The Lab is well equipped with both hardware and software facilities required by the students to perform the necessary experiments designed for this lab. Details of the lab equipment has been discussed in a proceeding section. Experiments are designed in such a way that the students become well aware of the concepts they learn in the theory sessions. A list of experiments that are conducted in this lab has also been mentioned in a proceeding section and excellent lab setup for B.Tech-III year students comprising of latest equipments of Analog Integrated Circuits. The lab strictly follow the ratio of 2:1(Students: Kit ). The motive of the lab is to train students in Analog Circuits. It contains prominent experiments related to OPAMP Parameters, Realization of Second order Active Filter, Voltage to Frequency Conversion etc and completely is as per the norms of UPTU experiment List.
Microprocessor Laboratory is equipped with 8085,8086 microprocessors and various interfacing cards and various interfacing devices. It is introductory microprocessor lab course at undergraduate level in engineering. Microprocessor technology is an exciting challenging and growing field, to meet the challenge of this growing technology, we will have to be conversant with the programmable aspect of microprocessor.
This lab continues exploration of transistor switching circuits to include CMOS logic gates, latches, and flip-flops.
Electronics have an exponentially growing influencing our lives. Most of the things used by an individual in day to day life include the contribution of electronics to some extend. PCB's have definitely contributed in a significant manner as a means of interconnection of various electronic components. The field of PCB designing is a mutual contribution of wide range of various other fields. For example, the knowledge of mechanics, chemistry and electronics design, production and process management is an essential need for the construction of any particular PCB. The PCB is widely used in fabrication of electronics as well as electrical circuits since they provide a bae for the connections amongst various components used in that particular circuit.
Microcontroller Laboratory is equipped with 8051 and various interfacing cards, various interfacing devices. It is introductory microcontroller lab course at undergraduate level in engineering. The Intel 8051 microcontroller is one of the most popular general purpose microcontrollers in use today. The success of the Intel 8051 spawned a number of clones which are collectively referred to as the MCS-51 family of microcontrollers.8051 chips are used in a wide variety of control systems, telecom applications, robotics as well as in the automotive industry. By some estimations, 8051 family chips make up over 50% of the embedded chip market
In this Lab students learn how to design and fabricate circuits and make projects which are useful in their day to day life. For the support of students projects we have Digital oscilloscope, multiple power supply, transistor tester, cable tester, function generator etc.
